Whose side is the examiner on?
A polygraph examiner is an independent and neutral party whose objective is to determine if the examinee is telling the truth and report the results.
Can someone be forced to take a polygraph examination?
No. Polygraph testing requires the voluntary cooperation of the examinee as a matter of both law and practicality.
How long does a polygraph examination take?
Most polygraph examinations take between 30 to 45 minutes, the majority of which entails a standardized interview before the testing phase.
How long does it take before I know the results?
Upon the completion of the examination the examiner will evaluate the data and provide a diagnostic opinion in 8 hours.
How much does a polygraph examination cost?
Our pricing is tailored to each client’s unique needs. Factors influencing the cost include the specific service requested, duration of the examination, case complexity, level of expertise required, and any necessary travel expenses. Each examiner determines their fees based on these considerations to ensure fair and appropriate pricing for every situation.

Who gets the Polygraph results?
Polygraph results can be released to the person taking the test or the person who paid for the test. This instructions will be taken from the person who requested for the test.
Consent is obtained from both the individual requesting the test and the person undergoing it. Once we receive the payment, it will be understood that the examinee has provided their consent.
How accurate are Polygraph tests?
They estimate the accuracy of the polygraph to be 91%. That is, in 91 out of 100 cases, the polygraph can accurately determine if someone is lying or telling the truth.
Can one video-record a live polygraph session?
We do not allow this. As it might interfere with the examinee and also for security and confidentiality purposes.
Can you do the tests at my place?
We prefer tests to be done at our offices at Truth and Lie Lab, Baricho Road, Vinodeep Towers, 3rd Floor, Nairobi, Kenya.
We can only allow test done at clients offices and not home addresses. And an extra will be charged if we come to your company address in Nairobi.
Confidentiality of polygraph examinations
Every effort is made to ensure the privacy and security of an examinee or client’s information.
All files are restricted to those immediately involved in the procedure.
The results of an examination or even the fact that an examination was conducted is carefully guarded information.
